Which frames does it work with?
IKEA LOMVIKEN, RÖDALM, KNOPPÄNG and FISKBO in the metric sizes 21×30, 30×40 and 40×50 cm. US inch sizes are not supported yet.
What does it cost?
$9.99 per layout, paid once. You get the full template for that layout with every frame series, spacing and print option: on A4 at home and as a print-shop file. Before you buy, download the free sample to check your printer and see what the sheets look like. Not happy? Email us within 30 days for a full refund. Payment is handled by Stripe and sold through Link, which also takes care of VAT and sales tax. Your receipt comes from Link, and the payment shows on your statement as LINK.COM*.
Do I need to measure anything?
No. The template already shows where every frame and every nail goes. You only decide how high the wall should be and check the level line with a spirit level.
How do I make sure it prints at the right size?
Choose “Actual size” or “Scale 100%” in the print dialogue, not “Fit to page”. Then measure the 10 cm check line: it should be exactly 10.0 cm.
How many sheets will I need?
Every layout shows the exact number of A4 sheets before you buy. Rather not cut and tape? You also get a print-shop file that splits the template over as few large sheets as possible, often just one.
Where can I print it in one piece?
At any print shop with a large-format printer (also called a plotter). Ask for the paper size shown next to the print-shop download, at actual size. Black and white is fine. You also get a separate A4 PDF with the instructions.
Can I download my template again?
Yes, as often as you like. On the device you bought it on, the layout stays unlocked. On another device or browser, choose “Restore your purchase” under the layout and enter your email address and the receipt or invoice number from your email from Link.
How high should I hang my gallery wall?
A good rule of thumb: the centre of the wall at 145–150 cm from the floor, or the bottom edge 20–25 cm above a sofa or sideboard. The template has a level line and a centre line to help you.
How accurate is the nail position?
The frame outlines use IKEA’s published outer sizes. The point where each frame’s hanger rests on the nail is still a provisional measurement (3 cm below the top edge) while we check it on real frames. Until then, compare it with your own frame before you drill.
